Utterly gutted, it's now going to be impossible to get hold of one for any amount of cash and no companies in the uk seem prepared to make me a custom spoiler :no:

Put up a wanted thread (with a pic, not everyone will know it by name) , just in case...its a rare spoiler but its certaintly not to everyone's tastes so may find somebody removing one perhaps.

try the Us forums to and possibly the Aus one?

or if you are into projects get yourself onto the supra forums and say you want a veilside spoiler they give them away for £30 on there....us veilside wearers get slated for having them as everyone is now a trd convert. to me though it makes your soop look like a celica....im sure with a little effort you could make a supra one fit

Car.Mad ... do you think it's feesible to make one from scratch since it's a simpleish shape? You have some knowhow on the subject and im a complete newbie to it - but am handy with diy etc. Thinking ductaping the boot and waxing. forming the shape with thin alu strips then filling the rough shape with shaping foam and cutting/sanding to as close as I can get, then using that as a base to create the real master?

what sort of method would you use to create one from scratch? Without any specialist tools ideally

tbh mate ive not got a clue. Pritty much in the way you have mentioned. but i would smooth it all with modeling clay. Take a mould off that then produce one.

 

Lot of work tbh mate. i would think of getting another spoiler lol!!!

Why dont you just email the Japan side surely thats where they all come from anyway. Bound to have a shed load sitting somewhere.

I was incorrect! My apologies.. Newera told me they had gone bust months ago! I have just called and tried my hardest at japanese.. (well google translate did). Looks like it IS possible for me to get it straight from Japan! Just waiting for shipping/purchase quote.. oh boy I hope it won't be more than the USA quote. 560 pounds was pushing it!

Japan is usually cheaper no tax as well :taz:

^YEah good spot dude, but sadly they take supply only from veilside US, who have shut down. That's who I was going to go through before.

3 1/2 years on and that link is still valid. Right now I'm looking into sourcing the very same spoiler. Anyone know which way to point me?
