Hey there. I'm in desperate need of advice. I've just gotten back into my car, but my key won't turn in the ignition????? What should I do????? Help!!!

Has the steering lock come on? Try rocking the steering and trying to turn the key might do it! I had a honda civic do this once and it was just the steering lock.

haha welcome bud. When this happened to me all those years ago (funnily enough I was just talking to a mate about it today as it was my first car and Id been driving about 3 weeks!) I rang my dad and he said the exact same to me....:oops:

i dunno why the hell i didnt just try that!!!????!?!?!?!? it used to happen in my almera all the time, i guess i just panicked lol. well, im home now, thankyou very very very much

I did it in the fto triptronic. i left it in N and tried to take the keys out and it wouldnt let me. So it was a bit of a panic as i was going shopping. So i left it in the car park with the keys in it :lol::lol:

 

Wasnt till i got home and put it into P i realised and it let me have my keys back :lol:

i did that when i first got my zed! although not as bad as she was in my garage :)

I did this in my zed :no::no: went to sainsbury's to pick up the wife, her mate and the shopping.

 

couldn't get the keys out so we loaded all the shopping in the boot through the back seat! then when got home and it gave me my keys back i felt like a complete :clown::clown:

phew not just me then....fookin autos :lol:
