Mate took me out in his firrari 360, it was pretty quick I must say but diddnt feel as fast as my zed (silver streak) was pretty disapointed at the interior to compared to the zed but the noise was amazing, it was an smg model and my god can it rev high, all in all I much prefered my zed, cant wait to own one again in the future.

Wish I hadnt, I thought a house was the priority, I was wrong lol

Well she might be up for sale again:whistling: i have been told of a car for sale that i have been looking for and wanting for years..........nothing like a z and i would be torn apart if i post what it is on here!

Not definate but really have been looking for this car for over 25 years :detective:

Oh and its my car lol

what is it then, i wont slate you?

old and british?

Got the old bit right but yank:thumbup:

correct guess guys, the only stumbling block was the position of the steering wheel ie left hooker.

i never liked that bit of yank ownership, but over the years i have done my homwork and found out a company carried out some conversions to right handside, although very far and few between (last one i saw one for sale was 1995)

but thursday eve i found one for sale and has reignited the urge to buy one before i am to old to apreciate driving an old car around.

decisions decisons

Have you ever driven one? (not that I have of course!) From what I have heard about the old yank stuff its often a case of never meet your hero... :(

my other half's uncle has a stingray, looks nice from afar but the interior and finish of trim bits etc is just nasty. sounds good though. love the black one in rush hour

This is a picture of my old one, it sounded lovely but they are pretty slow. A lot of Jap stuff used to regularly take it out. Top end though good for around 200mph.

get the corvette, i love old american stuff, i would love a camaro, its not about how it drives or what its like to own, its about the presence of the car, the sound and looks

Pretty slow!!!!!! You are fast becoming my hero  You know there is a job going on Top Gear don't you? Love them in yellow.

They are not quick, unfortunately the crappy F1 drive train and lousy clutches make them slow and you are always worried about breaking the things. I have never owned a better looking car. You feel like a film star wherever you go as people take loads of pictures and videos on their phones.

A manual one might be a bit better?. the F1 is a shoddy solution for a road car. I remember one night when a re mapped skyline really kicked my ass. We pulled in a layby after he overtook me. I told him that I was not nailing it as I had a new clutch to save a bit of face. Reality was I had done my level best to stay in front but it just did not have enough go in it. My Porker goes like lightning compaired to this but it just does not have the looks.

ive seen a breathed on pratstick sti nail one of these round sunderland

ferrari's are awesome cars but there is some light weight jap crap kicking about that will nail them and other supercars

if i could afford one i wouldnt have one, would love a gaurds red porker though, what a gorgous motor

Funny you mention that... when I had my R32 GTR (380ish BHP) I raced a 360 challenge stradale, and it was neck and neck then I started to gain on him. We eventually slowed down and his face was a right picture

straight line traffic light grand prixs and a saturday night cruises are their domain ....not rural b roads or congested town centers.......handle like a truck and stop like a super tanker ........and the smell of hot fibre glass is like a pensioners rest home in sweltering day in August.....they look the muts nuts though .....and with side pipes teh sound is awesome......

Took a 360 around Prestwold last june, nice, not as quick as some of my previous Zs, then a few months later took out the new GTR, way better, handles on rails, the way it corners is awesome, the pull from it never ends, the gearbox was bloody fantastic to use, and for around £50k the whole package is fantastic.By the way, Donna took out the Audi R8, very very good must say, she wants one!

i raced a 360 a couple of months ago, leaving work he actually turned round and followed me then he gave a huge rev and passed me just as i expected, but what he didnt expect was me to stick right up his rear, the zed really did feel quicker or he couldnt drive, we were on an A road that i knew really well, only problem was i had really bad brakes, the look on his face when he stopped at the junction to see me smiling behind him lol! and he was showing off to his missrs in the passenger seat
