The show is on for two days we can chose to go both days or just one.

 

I'm on holiday the week prior, and to save me cutting my planned trip too short would preffer just to do the Sunday, but I will do the Saturday if thats what everyone wants.

 

So who is interested ???? I need to get back to the organiser by the start of next week, I will need your name and registration number for the entry form.

Sorry for the unrelated thread hijack......

 

Bad Monkey is your mates place near by, I need a new spoiler fitting some genaral bodywork tidying up and then a full respray, I would prefer to go to someone known to someone as I don't want a crap job or to get shafted on price. Do you think he would be interested in the work, if so do you have any contact details.

I'm picking my car up tomorrow night mate in Wishaw, if your near by then feel free to pop up and have a look at his work. As bigmincey said he is a bit fussy and won't ever give you a job back until he is 100% happy.

 

I went up to see it last night once he was finished painting it and it was looking awesome, he's spending tonight flattening it then polishing it then it will be ready to take home tomorrow.

I cant make it tomorrow unfortunatly. As Allen said maybe later in the week we could meet up and get a decent look.

 

If you fancied it Allen I could pick you up, save you the £40 it would cost to take your :tank: to Motherwell.

 

Does he do the full thing, fitting spoiler, moulding it in, repairing the rust etc or is it just a paint shop?

'The garage' only do engine work mate.

 

Its 1 of the painters that i work beside - his mate owns a body/paint shop in Wishaw so he took my car up there to do as a homer.

 

I could ask him to take a look at yours and give you a price if you want.

The airfield opens up at 08:00 We need to be there before 09:30 as all vehicle movement on site will be stopped after that. We are not allowed to move until 17:00.

 

There arent any passes to pick up, they just go of a lsit of submitted registrations, but to make sure we all get in and set up together it would be better if we meet up first. Hows about the Musselburgh services for 08:30.

Suppose I better wash and polish the car tomorrow, though its gonna be well out shone by the other 2 attending. I'm really only going to make up the numbers, gonna be a bit embarrased with the quality of some of the other machines that will be there.

Its a small world !

 

My younger brother sent me this pic of a black zed which at the time he told me he

just purchased - lying bugger - turns out it was another zed owner in my area. So I

told my brother to stick the guy on the phone to see where he stays and when he

got his zed - turns out he stays in troon and less than a 1/2 mile from were I stay.

 

He's a member on here although not been on much and I cant remember his forum

name - anyways getting chatting an i mention this show we're all meeting at, after

a we chat I'd thought i'd invite him along - one more zed the better I say!

 

so looks like we both will be driving up togther tommorrow morning for the 8:30 meet.

 

Anyone on here recognise the zed ?
