got a problem with wipers,front intermittant is a no no as is the rear wiper and rear washers,are they on the same fuse and where the hell is it also any idea how much a front screen is had a stone thrown at it from a lorry going opp direction cheers guys

About your windscreen, I am getting one through the insurance and will only cost me £50.00, so if you are fully comp then it must be a no brainer :tt2:

I am in fact waiting for fitting as i want a bronze tinted one, Autowindscreens are telling me they are even struggling to source one even from Japan.

So I will continue to wait as blue will not match my other glass :crying:

There is an amplifier for the windscreen wiper motor control, also there is a little box in the drivers footwell, behind the kick panel, that controls the intermittent wiper, interior light etc. These will be the 2 main culprits.

 

The rear washer and front washers use the same bottle, but have seperate pumps, The rear wiper is the top row 4th fuse, the front wiper is 2nd row 5th fuse

No worries mate. The little box you are looking for in the footwell, is called the TCU(time control unit) do a search bud, theres a few threads regarding your problem

It looks blue but you will find when you come to order that you have bronze glass on an import with a green sun strip at the top.

This is what I am having trouble getting hold of.

Blue tinted windscreens are not a problem apparently :taz:
