you won't need to change the fuel pump, uprated side mount IC's or a front mount are a must, a free flow exhaust & filter and an electronic boost controller with a custom chip in the stock ECU will see you good for around 400bhp.

any more power and it's forged internals time with larger injectors (555's are a popular choise) coupled with larger turbos

I meant to say dumb in the first post, i couldn't edit it so i added a post!

Cheers mate. Were are good for custom chips? Can teh standard ECU not be remapped?

the standard ECU can't be remapped like a stand alone EMS. John Dixon or Andy P are the guy's to speak to about chips, both of them are members on here and do a sterling job

[quote name= a front mount are a must,

a what sorry?[/quote]

intercooler? cooler air for the turbo to make more ooooomph? at a guess?

The clutch will also need replacing if you up to boost - an uprated clutch & a lightweight flywheel at the same time is a good idea.

Lightweight underdrive pulley will help also.

After that its big bucks on tubs, injectors & internals etc

How fast can you afford to go?! LOL!

the TT zed comes with 2 itercoolers plumbed into the intake system (one each side infront of the front wheels) these cool the charge temp down before it enters the engine. some people, instead of side mounted coolers go for one big front mounted cooler.

what he said :D

oh so its like a radiator but for air yeah? and the cooler the air entering the turbo the thinner it will be and the more power right?

what he said :D

LOL!

Dont forget non power upgrades are a must!

Brakes, suspension, traction control is a great mod especially when upping the power.

Being able to handle well & brake well are just as important!!

Think its got a koyo already. Clutch is on the list.

How fast can i afford to go? Probably not very.....

Its cheaper to take a fast car and make it faster, than a slow one and make that fast!!

I want 500 bhp in the end. All in good time..

Front mount vs uprated side mounts? Which to go for?

I just assumed front mount.
