Since getting car back i had no.power to stereo. I remember a blue live cable running frm battery to stereo before car went in and decided to hook it back up. Had power.for 5 mins but since then.....nothing. i have changed fuse on stereo and the fuse in drivers footwell but still no luck :(

Some have an fuse inside , plus is there a fuse in the rear of the casing

ahh. ive changed the fuse on the back of the case and in drivers footwell but didnt know about one inside stereo

Maybe you have live supply but a bad or missing earth, need to check with a multimeter.

use a test light on the feeds to the radio one will be permenant live one when ignition on earth best way is to run a new wire from the radio earth to one of the bolts behind the dash to check it is earthed connect test light to it and check the live feed again

 

plug all back in should work
