IIRC a company called woolies did restoration stuff for leather

I'm not sure whether any off the shelf products would really do the job given that it's not just cracked, there's patches of colour missing.

Your best bet would be to contact a good leather restorer for a quote. Wouldn't be cheap, you might even be able to get shiny new leathers for just a little bit more if you looked hard enough.

Is there no edit button on this forum? Not that it's particularly a problem, I just always feel guilty double posting.

Regardless, I take back what I said about going professional. The products that Vijay linked to look excellent. Worst case scenario it doesn't work very well, and you've only wasted £20 or whatever. Best case scenario it looks great and you've saved yourself hundreds.

There is if you subscribe :winkiss:

Gliptone is another company to try, they do a colour matched dye for 300zx leather seats as well as the usual cleaners and conditioners.

I've used Gliptone products on my previous classic cars; including a 1975 Jaguar XJ6 and a 1991 Mk3 Soop. They did the job very well - the dye covered the scuff marks; the cleaner removed almost all traces of muck etc and the conditioner restored the finish and made everything nice and soft. Plus it put that "proper" leather smell back as well!!

And as Vijay said - Woollies to an excellent kit as well!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

This stuff is excellent , been using the same pot for 5 years, not only last a long time but after doing it a couple of times over a few weeks the results are great.A leather restorer put me on to it originaly.:cool3:
