Hi Pete, they show bright white, which is more than the 501 leds i originally had in my fogs, that failed. As long as it shows white light it will pass.

Hmmm. Both Bobgenie and me need a sidelight in 99 spec indic unit as we are both having ducts instead of them big heavy foglights.

i really dont like any of this Led stuff but I might have to go down this road.

Decisions????

I like those

they show bright white

in fact, they're so bright white they make the whole front bumper show up white with them :D

Lol, i had just primered it before i put it back on, needs a bit more work, the whole car is going to be high build primer for JAE then into the sprayshop to be done properly when i get back. Just ran out of time lol

I know what you mean, some leds can look chavvy or not inkeeping with the vehicle.

I could have gone down the drill a hole and 1 501 led in there, but because of the angle, i didnt think it would work.

I ended up drilling 8x 5mm holes to accommodate the 5mm leds, wired in 2 banks of four. Hotglued once soldered, then black silicon compound.

Can be done without taking apart, using a depth guide on the drill, but i had to take mine apart to clean as i had water getting into one of them and it stained the lens inside.

There isnt much depth to do much else, you could use smd leds on a board, which is what clear corners use.

Top job

Really like them

think they look much better vertically than horizontally IMO

mine are a hole drilled with an led bulb in

not as nice as yours

Shame it won't be done for JAE - but on a plus side it will be original and i can't imagine too many there in full primer.

I am racing against the clock to sort the interior by then to be honest mate, if i dont get it done in time we can park the other end of the stand with all the other people half way through a job!!

They are not running lights, they are the sidelights lol, the halos are on the fog switch so i have the option of both on at the same time or just the ones on the indicator housing.
