Yes it bloody failed on Hazard switch and 2 wheel nuts missing?so not bad really.

So just a quick question regarding the hazard switch, If i press it, the lights come on and flash as they should, but if i let go, they stop, seems as if the switch has lost its retaining ability?? any quick fixes

you have ten working days to get it back in mate, put a wanted up for a switch i reckon your find one really easy and could book the car back in for next week by then the switch will be with you and fitted, 5 min job,

undo the 2 screws under the pod that hold it in, and carefully pull it out....what you will probably find is that the plastic screw holes that the hazard switch fixed to have broken away and the hazard switch is not sitting in the correct place.....so when you push the switch it does'nt fully engage.

Quite a common problem. A bandaid fix is to try and use two longer screws to hold the switch in place.......but otherwise MJP for new pod housing.

Remove the switch then plug it in and try again. I seem to remember that if the pod holder hazhard retaining points break or part broken they will not hold the switch in the right place and the switch doesn't latch. If this is the case a new pod hokder is required.

Thanks bud, hopefully just a few loose screws

As 'Legrath' says, the plastic threads could be goosed and therefore the switch is not seating where it should.

Mine are broke, I do have longer self tappers in there with some washers for spacers and I do have it working fine, I dont fully tighten them up either, if I do I have the same prob as you when it does not turn off with a flick.

I've got a free hazard switch if you wants one matey ;) (I think )

i repaired mine with some epoxy putty from the pound shop! i greased a couple of bolts up, screwed em in a bit, then moulded the putty stuff round, made sure it was flat and the right height, then when set, unscrewed the bolts and ya've got a new threaded plastic screw hole type thingie :) needs slight adjustnent tho, hazards latch no probs, but have to press it a little bit harder to get em to disengage. did this with both my pods as they were like broken biscuits....
