been having intermittent boost spikes, sometimes boosts right through the revs, sometimes drops off quite badly about 4500 revs-ish, about 14.5 when boosting properly, had 1mm boost jets that were in it when i bought her, decided to remove em last night, took her for a spin, and although only about 9.5 psi and a bit slower, very consistent boosting. i'm guessing the only proper way around this is to fit an EBC? bit skint at the mo, anything else i can do?

cheers, tudor...

might just do that, as a guestimet, might give about 12 psi, which ain't half bad, 14 n half is lots of fun when it's consistent! will try 1.2mm, and get me hands on an EBC whenever i can....

put it back to standard untill you can afford a proper boost controller and a roling road set up!!!engines are very expensive.

it is standard now, and runs as sweet as a nut, gonna stay like that till an EBC is on the cards, noticeably slower, but still rapido and soooo much more consistent........

yep, they are expensive, built this one my self, don't mind building another, but DO mind paying for it :)
