Hiya bud , just need to pick your brains again

I,ve put the auto alternator loom back on as you recommended , there,s the three connectors , starter , speed controller and i gather the other one the isolator connector that i need to bridge ?

You said i need to make a connection loom for the reverse lights , which connector on the box is the reverse switch ?

zedrebuild184.jpg

These are the original connections for the autobox , i gather the reverse needs to be re-connected to one of these but which one bud ? also which one is the neutral plug that i also need to bridge ?

Sorry to be a pain bud but i,ve searched high and low to find the answers but all i can find is the american guide which has a completely different wiring set up

Thanks Allan

Thanks for the replys lads and a bump for Jeff :helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

Here you are matey, sorry for slow response, if you have no use for the auto box you can cut off the appropriate plug and use it for the cable to connect for the reverse lights, looks neater under the bonnet that way.

If you have the manual alternator loom is it simply plug and play or do you still need to short some connectors?

You still have to cut mate, the manual loom won't plug into the main connector that the auto used.

Ok thanks bud :-)

Mine did it was identical connectors on the auto loom.

edit: just re read ignore me your using a manual loom.

Strange, mine didn't. The only one I had fit was the speed sensor, which isn't part of the alt loom. I had to use the auto loom and adapt that to the manual as Jeff said.

EDIT: no worries mate. lol
