To all the kids who fail their GCSEs this week, it's important you remember 2 things:

1) You tried your best

2) No cheese on my Big Mac

Does that include the 150k that didnt get into uni... bwhahahaha! Actually its a good thing, 150k less pointless degrees and 150k x the average student loan less to pay back!

Quality - that's the funniest thing I've seen in a while!

Fortunately none of the kids round by me are gonna be affected by their poor grades. Last time I checked you didn't need qualifications to claim benefits (though it does help if you can read and write). Guess they can get on with their life now and start poppin sprogs - or as they see it - increasing their income!

I think kids should be encouraged to do more vocational training at school rather than battering the bad ens 'cos they ain't got no grades man.. Congratulations; you're 16 with no qualifications and no chance in life - not a very positive start is it? But I don't think this thread was created to discuss the shortfalls of the education system.

I will try and not laugh next time I'm ordering my sausage and egg Mcnuffin:drool:

Got me right in the mood for McDog for lunch! I wonder how many trainee badges they'll need.

Suporting the badge making economy in one way or another!

Actually when I did my GCSE's my old IT teacher used to taunt us with what he called the "Burger King Express" which is what we would be on if we didnt work. (I hasten to add it wasnt solely aimed at me, more the interesting charactors in the group - Dream team as they were affectionatly known LOL)

Infact on my day of leaving GCSE's we did a little modification to his car

Funnily enough out of the people I went to school with, some of the most successful (financially speaking) people I know are the ones who did terribly in their exams. A lot have gone to uni, racked up £30k of debt and come out with some BS degree in "Creative wrapping paper management" or something.
