Hi........is it possible.............

to have an ordenary seat put on an electric rail set up for sliding back and forward etc, ovioulsy i assume you wont be able to adjust the seat tipping forward and back but this can still be done manually.

Just wondering out of curiosity really as i would try and do this if possible.

It would be just as easy to get a complete electric passenger seat as it would be to get just the rail from one though.

yeah i understand.........its just i may be getting a full interior thats already re-trimmed but the passenger seat is not electric and just for a small touch i was thinking if it could be done. Tho i suppose could take both seats to somebody and ask them to swop the trim over.

would it not be possible to use a drivers electric rail on the passenger side?

yes thats what i have done so i could use my electric passenger seat. i took the switch gear apart and swapped it about so the directions are the right way too, just the symbols on the cover are wrong.
