Hi, im just curing a vibration problem on my fairlady lwb non turbo,

Im almost sure its a prop problem, the conversion is:

Car was a auto, converted using a tt box, it runs a n/a diff and n/a rear prop, with front prop from the tt, but i get a vibration, the centre bearing is new!.

Im thinking to ditch the whole lot and buy a one piece prop but will this be available to buy with my tt box and n/a diff!,

any links would be great, cheers!.

yeah, checked all the gearbox mounts they all look ok, one is that the vibrations seem to quieten a bit when the car is warmer

The 2 prop sections might be out of balance with each other. Sometimes turning the prop 180deg helps, by that i mean, undo the bolts on the rear diff so the prop is not connected, rotate and rebolt.

For a one piece in a configuration you want, check out JeffTT's thread on one piece props.

I had some bad prop vibes some time ago........

I thought it was the centre bearing, but it turned out to be the UJ joint on the 2 piece shaft.

I got a custom made 1 piece prop shaft from Z1 motorsports in the US.

Great price and fast delivery, with a small import tax.

Got it from here...http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_11&products_id=1831

Try a Nismo gearbox mount first, this helped me when I had some vibration problems, much cheaper than a new prop. The old one had gone soft and had collapsed.Ebay USA will be the best place to look.
