Hi,

My brother has got my old n/a auto and wants to put nos on it, dont think he wants to go mad just a little extra bhp, he asked me if an auto be ok with nos, I know the auto box is not that strong but he is a little worried when the nos kicks in the car will change down to hard, anybody done this.

Thanks Mark

i think there are one or two that have, i dont think nos on a standard n/a would be the best idea maybe with other supporting mods and the engine fully checked first

someone has also put a single turbo on the n/a to the rear was great !!

I am putting nos on my other tt maual zed with alot of other supporting mods like the drivetrain and engine. I wouldnt see point on an auto or a n/a may as well just get a turbo for extra bhp

putting nos on a non turbo'd vehicle is fine but nos on its own fitted to a 20year old car i fear will not last long, so a full check up would be in order, as above though the TT is simpler and cheaper to get extra power out off

Hi thanks for the advice, if he decides to go for nos I have a full nos kit sitting in my loft lol, I had it on a 2.0 tigra years ago and beat 2.0 turbo corsa/tigra lol.

Will let him know thanks again.

Mark
