I am just watching The A Team on Bravo, and it got me remembering how many great TV shows there were in the 80's. We were spoilt for choice back then.

I used to love The Man from Atlantis! (the program I mean, not Patrick Duffy!! :sailor: ) :cool3:

Awesome!! the man from Atlantis rocks!!

Me and my dad watched the whole episode of `V` and then watched it again on vhs!! thats probably 1 year of my life watching TV :cool2:

Airwolf and street hawk were the daddy`s too:gunsmilie:

:bow::bow::bow::bow:Fookin Logan`s Run !!!!!! :bow::bow:

Jesica was beautiful :tt1::tt1:

I used to love street hawk in the day but watched an episode recently and wasn't to impressed. Don't think it's aged as well as other 80's icons like Knight Rider and the A Team.

Yup - the 1980s was the best for TV....

....my all time favourites were Knightrider, The A Team and The 6 Million Dollar Man (although the latter was more the 1970s).

I also loved Magnum PI and Miami Vice (I always got into trouble at school for dressing like Crocket and Tubbs instead of wearing uniform!!!)

But what about the British classics of the 1970s that strayed into the 1980s - for instance The Professionals and The Sweeney. Both awsome programmes that would never make in onto the small screen in our politically correct times nowadays!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Used to watch most of them. Bar mcgyver never really got into that.

Anyone remember sledge hammer and Police Squad.

Oh and you can't forget the young ones, don't think any other series has had such a diverse theme, surealism, randomism, music, slapstick, politics, current affairs.

:bow::bow::bow::bow:Fookin Logan`s Run !!!!!! :bow::bow:

But not in the same league as Colonel Wilma Deering

oh how could i forget Streethawk love that one, still got every episode on vhs (Bravo had a Streethawk day many years ago)

Got the battle of the planets boxset a few years back for 30 quid,,,,there now going between 100 and 400,,,wish id bought 2.....

colonel dearing and her full poutty poutty lip glossed lips ...............spent many a happy hour alone with that image :)

Fond memories of Heather Locklear in 'The Fall Guy'... :tt1:

I thought it was Heather Thomas in The Fall Guy - Heather Locklear was in TJ Hooker.....

....or was that the other way round???

Either way they were both fit; and The Fall Guy was also a great programme!!
