Possible sale of UK 300 TT Manual, £Offers

Hi

-Nissan 300 Twin Turbo, 1991, Red

-UK car, manual, T roof

-HPi clear (certificate to prove)

-Full Zeemax bodykit, looks gorgeous

-Fully adjustable shocks all round

-HKS electronic boost controller

-Blitz air filter

-16" alloys in good con., similar to TSW Hocks

-New Front discs

-**£5000 spent on recon engine/turbo's last year, receipts to prove**

-Handbooks, Nissan manuals

-Some old MOT's

-Remote central locking alarm/immobiliser

-109k in total but around 10k on recon engine

The car starts and drives perfectly, brakes are fine, gearbox is smooth, makes no bad noises or blows any smoke.

However, there are coolant/air/possibly fuel leaks somewhere around the engine bay, the radiator is fine. The idle also needs setting up (TB's need cleaning?). At worse I think it's headgasket. At best, dodgy piping. At the moment, I haven't got the time, money, nor inclination to get it sorted frown.gif. There is very minor bubbling around the rear arches. Couple of very minor key type scratches. The back tyres need replacing. No MOT as the car has been off the road due to the leaks. Wouldn't imagine it needing much. Just some TLC.

Thats an honest appraisal of the car. I bought it only a few months ago with the intention of sorting it but....

I'd like near to £3000 as poss (to get me money back), email me for photos....otherwise I'll be asking AndyDuffman to fix it biggrin.gif, please!

It might be an idea to break it, & you'll probably get more than £3k in bits!

If you can spare the space & effort that is.

harve, your advice is practical and may get Chris extra dosh at the end of the day.

But can I just put in a plea for not breaking Zeds unless absolutely necessary? They're rare enough as it is.

Thanks for the input guys. I sincerely hope that I get it back on the road...and if no-one buys it I will. After all, what the hell could I buy for three grand that'd compare with 300zx, nothing.

It's just that if I had the chance of getting some cash back, I probably would...if not then I'm not too bothered either. I'll get it fixed. Then it be worth a hell of alot more...

i was thinking of selling mine on for about 7 when i put the clutch in it but even for 7k theres nothing that will touch a z for looks or performance so dont do it theres nothing else out there for 3k and you just know you will pull up to a set of lights in your new car and a z will be sitting purring at the lights and leave you standing think how you will feel then even worse it might be your old z sorry guys i just had to get it out of my system

sorry

Paul

I agree smile.gif.

I only have to look at it and think no way, I'm keeping it....but then i look at my bank balance frown.gif lol !!

It's frustrating because at the moment I haven't got the funds to fix it, I've driven a massive 15 miles in 3 months frown.gif!! I will have the funds in a month or two...but waiting is killing me....does anyone know a mechanic that does jobs on credit lol biggrin.gif?

IMHO there is nothing that can touch them for looks this side of 10k, also very rare...how many imprezas/evo's do u see everyday....performance I dunno cos I haven't booted it yet, but imagine it'll fly smile.gif.

Chris DO NOT BREAK IT!

It looks like the perfect car that I have been looking for for months!

Please e-mail me at parts@tmstvr.co.uk as I will be very interested in buying it from you especially for £3000 - bargain!!!!!!!!

Ivan

Email sent Mr. Warrior. I very much doubt I'd break it. If no-one buys it, I'll wait till I have some money and then get it looked at. *Please be aware that it's only £3000 because it needs some work....I don't think it needs an awful lot but I'm no mechanic.*

I've had quite alot of interest, I don't think it's going to be here come next weekend frown.gif.

Eh? confused.gif

To clarify to those that have emailed me :

The 1st person to come to my home with £3000 cash will get the car, otherwise it'll go to the highest bidder on Sunday at 5pm. If I am not happy with the offer then I'll keep it.

Sorry, but I am not holding it for anyone, I don't care who buys it...whoever has the cash, gets it. Please, no more emails

Phone me for any more info on 07876 693779, evenings.

Thanks
