WANTED - PTU connector spring clips

Someone lost the clips off my PTU connector (Not naming names but can you make some replacements in carbon?! LOL)

It's the small metal springy things that go on the wiring harness connectors.

I don't think you can order them on their own.

Anyone got any spare on a scrap Z?

FFS - Blue Peter method as follows....

Take 1 paper clip

Take long nose pliers, and straighten paperclip

Make your own fvckin clip with the wire you have....

Easy peasy init biggrin.gif If the paperclip is too thick, then you can also use thin wire. Wrap it round the connector where the clip would go and twist the ends together to secure in place...

Paper clips are a bit bendy to hold in position - they'll got out of shape as you push 'em round the clip... need some nice springy stuff.

I just thought I'd ask as there must be loads of old cable bits lying around with these guys who are stripping Z's down.

You can buy stuff called piano wire from model shops, it come in 1m lengths usually and whilst being about the same thickness as paper clips, it is much springier, so should do the trick if you don't manage to get any of the proper clips.

BTW Macca needs one too, cos he lost one of his on Sunday.
