Can anyone tell me if i can change the pillars if they are damaged or is it easier to cover them with the carbon fibre ones

Featured Replies

U still need to remove ur old ones to fit aftermarket ones. So either way you will be doin same. Depends if you want to pay out for some carbon ones.

Depends on the damage, if its superficial, ie scratched, blistered, rub them down and the carbon pillar covers will stick over the top. I have some fitted to mine. dont get the carbon look sticker stuff, but the proper carbon pillar covers.

No you cant. FACT. The pillar is an integral part of the steel door.

If it had been that simple to do I would have done it ages ago when I first got the car.

It came like that from Japan I believe. The hard Stick on carbon panels being offered in the goup buy will cover it.

If it bugs you that much I do have a spare door that I bought at one time.

LOL!!!

I have just fetched the (hopefully) 200mph slicktop outta storage this morning cos Bob is on his way up today.

I think the carbon panels will look good on your car and should hide that crease. I was thinking about some for my project slicktop.... but I might see if I can get some done a bit cheaper:blink:

BTW can you post the catches n screws back yesterday???:thumbup1:
