July 29, 201015 yr hi all just notcied one of my front rear subframe bushes has a gungy/silicone like slime all over it so guessing i've got one bush gone is it a subframe out job to replace one of the front bushes?
July 29, 201015 yr It sure is bud. And to get the subframe out, the rear diff, brakes and suspension all needs to come out. I've just finished changing mine. Im not gonna lie to you, it was a PITA to get the old bushes out of the subframe.
July 29, 201015 yr Author think i'll wait till it gets really bad or others fail then replace witrh poly bushes
July 29, 201015 yr I might be wrong but im sure that having them leaking is an MOT failure (someone will correct me if im wrong!) Worthwhile doing it yourself as a garage will charge you an absolute fortune.
