Hi, I'm interested in some rare tyres on ebay, but the ad says local pickup only.

 

I'm just wondering if I could get a courier to his address and have them collected then shipped here? Just not sure if they need to be wrapped or labelled etc. prior to collection.

tell the seller to attach your delivery address and clear tape it to it.

 

you will probably have to have 2 tyres in each parcel, weight issue, all four cannot be handled together.

 

So you will need to book 2 collections, total cost £16.20.

 

Don't need packing any further as they can come to no harm.

Thanks everyone for your advice. The tyres were 225 70 15 Michelin XWX's which are hard to find cheap. Unfortunately I didn't win the auction even though I bid twice the highest bid with 4 seconds to go! Bleeding fleabay.
