my car has started cutting out when you start it it ticks over then cuts out.sometimes when driving along and coming to mroundabout etc it cuts out starting to get annoying any help greatfully recieved

check your battery terminals are nice and tight, mine did the exact same thing because they had worked there way loose

is the engine up at temperature when it cuts out?

 

It might be a ptu fault.

The same thing happened to mine. Exactally. Coming up to roundabouts and the engine revs would fluxuate then cut out. Whacked a bottle of Redex in and gave it a blast. Seemed to sort it out (touch wood)

think its the plug on the bottom of the ptu, any1 know where i can get a new top plug as this ones held in place by cable ties. also need series 2 ptu which will fit i think

Is ur idle up and down? Boost leak?

nowhen it ticks over it running normal

is it automatic or manual? TT or NA? Information is always good :)
