Right, short notice but if there's enough interest then we should be able to figure something out.

Location - to be decided by attendees, i.e: somewhere central to the majority.

Time - Weedend, weekday - evening? I'm flexible, easier at weekends but a quickie in the evening is do-able given the long days at the mo. My only suggestion is that it takes place befor Monday Aug 2nd.

Who and what - If you wanna come then suggestions welcome. I was thinking a pub car park or something where refreshments and toilet facilities are available.

I reckon about 5 or more cars would make it worth while, doesn't have to be the biggest gathering of Zeds since time began, just enough for a bit of bonnet lifting, finger pointing and some ooohs and aaahs. That'll do nicely

If you're interested, put your location and and availability and we'll take it from there..

Suggestions...

me too after september

OK, so we'll have to do another in Sep, especially if we have a V8 zed in our midst! Hope there's gonna be a couple of turbos strapped to it:scared:

Anyone wanting to meet sooner?

How about 13:00 on Saturday 14th August somewhere on the coventry side of birmingham?

Soon as the V8's done everyone's welcome to come round mine for a BBQ, plenty of room for 10+ cars :D

Could be a nice little meet in september

Coolios, i'll start a separate thread up nearer the time. Engine's going back in Sunday so hoping after all this to get the car in a driveable format for the 25th to have a bedding in session at Santa Pod on a trailer before its mot to iron out all the bugs

Thats sounds cool, kind offer mate:gunsmilie:

No problem buddy :D I'm thinking of stepping up as midland rep to kickstart the area again, i used to do it with Slick Pete before i became zedless but without having a zed it's a bit crap organising events you have ot turn up to in a rover coupe

Sweet ill come along too if i get my bumper fixed cause its in peice at the moment need some fibre glass filler :

Hey guys, any chance i can get in on this? :tongue_smilie:

Just an idae, but last time i was at Zedworld there was talk of a new Rolling Road that has just opened about 3 miles away and were thinking about offering discounts to clubs....Just a thought :whistling::wink:

I'd be up for a rolling road session, if the cost was reasonable. Would be interested to see what boost and power my engine is running. WHo's gonna do the groundwork on this? You up for it Rob?:thumbup1:

Give me a couple of months to break the engine in and i'll be up for that.

A good one for the winter months as you have nice cold air to get more power and it's an indoor meet so no hanging around outside in the cold :D

Unfortunatley i couldnt arrange it as i work nights, so dont really get enough time. I'm sure Jeff would be happy to help out, i reckon he'd come along too.

Sounds like a bit of interest then. I suggest we go befor Nick gets 600zx off the ground and creams us all with his huge cubic inchage (have you seen his missus? he must be packin some serious cubic inchages:lol:)

Or we can wait until Nicks finished, blindfold him, then add 200hp to our figures and pretend it was a pretty close run thing!

Picking my car up this weekend from the boys at Zedworld (and ladies) so will enquire then and see if I can organise summits.

Keep watching this thread..

Hahaha, well she didn't get with me for my looks buddy

I won't get a good bhp figure till the engine's freed up a little bit but even if we go early it'd be interesting to see the power gain over time when i go the next time :D

you've gotta start somewhere..

Would be v. interested to see how the power changes through the loosening-up process. But only works if you keep it in the same state of tune - which probably wouldn't be for long eh?
