hi mate theres another two bolts in the middle under the cover ,then you have to pull it off rather hard as it has some glue and clips underneath, hth

I think there is more bolts than that? 2 either side, and maybe 4 along the back, but some could be clips, might be wrong... when i took mine off, it took an un-nerving amount of brute force, but i double checked everything had been undone and gave it the beans, and I flew backwards with a spoiler in my hands and banged my head on a shelf.

i would imagine its going to be very rusty under there plenty of wd40!

no theres only the two little ones in each corner that normally snap and the two 10mm be-hind the centre trim where the back of the brake light will be also make sure you disconnect the third brake if fitted and yes plenty of bute force :sweatdrop::lol:

thanks guys i been out here 4 hours cant get the bugger off,

it seems theres 2 bolts that go near very far ends to the far left and right of the spoiler but i cant see where the heads are, going mad here lol

hi mate its just clips and glue first try and pull up each corner then pull the edge cloest to the window once its a little loose try pulling up on the back edge and just keep working yourself round it will come, when your pulling on it you have got the boot latched as gives you abit more purchase

i trying getting dark now lol

where spoiler wraps round to the front im sure i can see a bolt going into the boot but cant see how its bolted from the inside, hacksaw coming out in next 5 mins

They also have dabs of bonder holding it to the tailgate - I used a long blade from a windscreen removal kit to help slice through it. I would imagine just pulling would need some force!!

with great difficulty!!!

Mine was bonded from start to finnish, complete nightmare, i used thin electrical cable to cut through it

Have a look in the online service manual. BF-30 shows where all the clips and bolts are.

got it off wish id never,, holes all over the place for the clips.. and horrible shabe where th rear brake light goes, what do people do to cover it normally??

cant all be filler?

anyone got a smooth bootlid for sale??

jj

normally a perspex panel across the back and holes welded and filled you could always fit a replica stock spoiler from z centre that would cover everything thats the plan on mine when i get to remove the stock one
