Fould this up in the loft - its a Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin :thumbup:

 

 

Anyway, it used to work, but I've just put batteries in, and if the car and controller are both turned on, the car starts having a fit - full throttle and steering left and right! Touching the controller does nothing to alter or stop its tantrum. Any ideas???!! :whistling::blushing:

Silly question but, does the crystal in the transmitter match the crystal in the reciever Baz?

haha I've just double checked - I thought they were, as they are both a teal blue colour, but the transmitter is T27.195 and the receiver in the car is R27.255. Is this the problem? :clap:

Just found the missing crystals! Now I have a matching pair and it works!!! Thanks zedwizz! The cat doesn't like it though lol :lol:

cool stuff i use to have both of those & a Bullhead, mud blaster, manta ray & grass hopper use to race the ray at crystal palace hace ball race bearings & removed prop to make it 2 wheel drive light weight wheels, electronic speed controler & tripple turn motor...how sad !!!! loved it had an alfa 155 shell on it too

i worked for Beatties part time as a kid and used to build loads of r/c cars for people,lunch boxes,grass hoppers,porche 959s, and my fave was the clod buster,had one myself.would go anywhere.Tamiya still make them.

I have an old Rough rider in the loft somewhere think i might dig it out tomorrow lol annoy the wife a bit more lol

Just looked that clod buster up on ebay never seen one before thats mad....

i use to drive my bullhead across the parks pond as it floated with the big tyres & the tread pattern was deap enough to propell it lol

That bullhead looks good. Must try not to get to drunk tonight and buy one of ebay lol

:thumbup: Very rare!!! they never come up but over the last week 3 have been up for sale!!! one for £500 (bit much),been looking for ages for this one, boxed ect, deffo going to build it but use it as an orniment rather than a toy, hence not bothered about the radio, but somewhere i have the gear from my Tamiya Hotshot from the 80`s! :yes:

Sorry Bazza, I`m gonna be greedy and have both :yes:!! I am soo tempted to make a real life size of the ISMA GTS zx with my doner car, not sure how much it would cost but it could be a go go:thumbup:

No i was going to but bought a private plate insted lol!!!
