Had an issue a while ago with my injectors dying, so managed to replace them with help from some very helpful/ generous members (thanks again!).

Anyway this is what greeted me the first time round, which i assumed was due to overfuelling and the unspent fuel being recycled as it were into the plenum..thing is it`s STILL like it, not as bad but none the less.

One of the injectors had shed 2/3rds of its cap and i`m now starting to wonder if one of the valves has been damaged at all. Removed sparks, none are covered in oil or owt so assume rings are ok.

I`m resealing the rockers as the half moons and fronts seem to be leaking hence the plenum being off again. I also seem to have what sounds like a blow from the turbo/manifold area..could be the plenum after seeing the gasket!

Any thoughts as to causes?

p.s runs ok, passed mot other day, just smells a little fuely sometimes.
