Hey everyone,

Do you recon the front bumper support (the bar type thing behind the bumper where the fogs sit) is important if the bumper is an original hard plastic one and not fibre glass??

I'm looking to fit fog air ducts at the front for my side mount, which would mean cutting of the bit on both ends I guess. However, the middle bit of the support is not allowing my bumper to fit on straight. So am thinking to either cut the middle bit off or just remove the whole thing..

If it was a fibre glass bumper then I understand the importance of this but is it the same with proper bumpers??? Also, people with fog ducts, what have you done with your bumper supports??

Best regards,

Zee..:)

I took mine off as it had a prang in the past by the looks of it and the bumper wont fit right over the top of it. Its supposed to be there to help in an accident to take the brunt of a front end force, but you take your chances lol

Get rid/cut away mate!

Thats a bit drastic! 4x m6 bolts and it's off of the car!
