Sexy Motor mate. maybe we should be renamed BMW.co.uk LOL

Ah very nice! Manual or auto? Lovely cars - still an air of individuality unlike todays alpinas (the D3 to name the worst offender!)

Still love my BM's, did i make a mistake selling my M3?? LOL

Very nice bud, I saw one yesterday in white, I must say though your looks a little fake? the badges seem in the wrong position, suspension is a little high and the rear diffuser looks wrong ,IMO though? I`m probably wrong, but looks lovely

I used to serously lust after the old e34 B10 Bi-Turbo

Just had a quick google, and not sure what your on about - the badges are in the correct position and the rear diffuser is indentical to others.

The badges are normally nearer the centre of the car, well they were on my uncles:biggrin:

Apparantly not according to pics of others on net. Prob would of been wise if you googled it to check first before calling his car fake, its a harsh remark.

You sure you mean an alpina Daz, not an M3?

No mate my uncle used to have one, i`ve driven it many times but his badges were more central of the car i.e either side of the bmw badge? maybe his was fake  went like shit of a shovel though. the suspension on his was a lot lower to the ground too, but thats the idea with them cars a sheep in wolfs clothing!!!

I was thinking fake was a bit harsh, coudnt think of another word, maybee `look-a-like`, and it was imo so no need to be nasty!

when he said `let the slating begin` i thought that was a cryptic clue? :tt2:

Ahh i see. Just a common mistake alot of people make. :) The alpina really is the wolf in sheeps clothing, not as obvious as the M range but they are generally softer as well, often with auto gearboxes. It was once said they offer 98% performance of the M models but with the 100% of the comfort of a "normal" model. Also have the advantage of being factory delimited I believe!

LOL! I hadnt even realised that you had said it the wrong way round... Teach me to not read stuff properly - I just see words and rearrange them in my head to what I think they should say! LOL

Nice car mate!

The Alpina BMs are ultimate "street sleepers" since they don't look vastly different from most other cars in the range. But let them loose......

Good luck with it!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Cheers for the comments Guys:cool3:

I can assure you its no Fake :tt2: BUT deffinately a Wolf in sheeps clothing.

I have bought it from a good friends 73 year old dad who has had it from new.

and to top it off due to exessive oil usage Alpina fitted a Brand new B3S engine under warranty 19,000 miles ago. All documents to prove.

I cant smile wide enough

:tt1:

alpinas are great cars my 2nd was an e21 alpina and as said the e34 bi turbo must be mad
