Brake fluid

I'm hoping to change all brakes on the zed frmo stock to R33 GTR calipers and discs this weekend with braided brakelines. Obviously will run through a flush of the oil as well and have been reading on here that dot 5.1 is probably the best candidate for replacing the old stuff.

My question is....what's the difference between all the different brands? Is there any?? Had a quick squizz on ebay and there seems to be a fair bit of difference!

Admittedly I forgot about the brake fluid so need to get my hands on stuff fairly swiftly as hoping to do the work on Sat...

...any links/advice/tips would be much appreciated!!

Thanks all...

Dot 4 or 5.1 is ideal. (dont get dot5)

Brand isn't to important, but if in doubt stick to the Bigger names - Motul, ATL, AP Racing, Castrol ...etc

Get one that is a different colour to what you have in there at the moment. That way you know when it has all been blead through as it changes colour.

Thanks guys. Went with the oilman on this one in end. Pretty fair prices tbh.

Thanks for the headsup legrath and good idea madmax but I have no idea what colour I have in there at the moment! Surely it would have darkened over time anyways??
