hi guys im having a bit of an issue with my z n/a starts fine runs fine but on steady 60/70 mph feels like the car is surging,accelerate and its fine but once alowed to cruise at that sort of speed goes back to it again any ideas much apreciated..

you could link them up to a conzult if you know of one local etc to see what there doing, failing that i'd just go new if there at fault :)

search is your friend :) on the TT they are on the downpipe from the turbo, not sure on the NA.

 

They will need replacing and if original will most likely be seized in place so may be a battle getting them off.

On the manifold before the downpipe, they can get lazy, best to replace rather than clean. They can be a bitch to get out. Try disconnecting both O2 sensor plugs, disconnect the battery for an hour, which will reset the ecu, then reconnect battery and start the car, having no O2 sensors showing up in the ecu will revert to a means setting. Not ideal for the MOT lol but will see if it helps if you cant get onto a consult. Couple of links to help:
