piston and rods

Featured Replies

Don't know, but mine made 407bhp and 439 torque on stock engine last year, never rattled or knocked and that very engine with 100k on is going to get transplanted in another z without any work being done to it.

Rods are forged and of good design so mega power for them and yes way in excess of 500bhp.

Pistons are not and are good for what ever condition they are in to begin with, being approx 20 years old and a wee problem of fuel starving No.6 when upping the boost, no certain figure.

For the cost of pistons, if yer EVER open a block for whatever reason and pistons are stock, replace them!

Numerous brands around but wiseco about the cheapest and easily available in varying sizes.
