No problems at all matey, just a bit fiddly with the attachment bolts. The only problem i found is the spherical bearing is shite. The tolerence is huge and will eventually rattle. I have changed mine to a teflon bearing, or get the Z1 shifter.

How different does it feel when shifting gear? As in...do you think it's a worthwhile mod? Benefit v downsides? looking for your personal opinion rather than the generic pros/cons if you know what I mean!

Cheers dude

I fitted a Z1 shifter last year. Easy to fit, fantastic to drive!

I also have a short shift...driving experience in my opinion is better.

It feels ok matey, nice and short, instead of the long throw from standard. If i were to fit a short shifter again, i would fit the Z1 shifter, looks top quality matey. The e-bay and motorsport website shifters are pretty cheaply made, and the bearing is pathetic, to say the least.
