FTO mivec 97 auto import auto

Hi,

Anyone here got one of these in the south east, who can give me some advice. Wifey's car and has an oil leak left hand side as you look at engin. Took plastic covers off top and side, and I think it is the rocker cover gasket. Not sure though?

Thanks

Sonic.:confused1:

Yeah i had one. It more than likely to be the rocker cover gasket has gone.

Seem to be quite common, Mine was leaking on the rear back. you can get the gasket off ebay for about £18.

I think i might ave a new one in the garrage.

Thats good, the leak is at the front so i think I am lucky there? If you have one for a 97 mivec import please let me know, thank you.

PM me if you want.
