I'm looking for a TT 2+2 manual in silver. I have seen plenty of auto's but that takes all the fun out of driving. Want to spend no more than about 7k and no more than 100 miles from Bristol. Please help!!

Silver was never offered on UK cars, only imports.

What about a white one and spray it up? Zcentre do all the outside panels and inside the doors and tailgate (ie not the engine bay) for just over a grand. We always leave engine bays white on our race cars so you can see where any oil and crap is coming from.

Just a thought seeing as you are going to have a struggle.

What is the difference between a UK model and a Jap import? Someone has been in contact with me saying they can get hold of an import for a very good price including the shipping cost and registration. And it's silver!

ideally you want a UK model, then you wont have troubles with silly jap differences, but then again they arent that bad. also think about insurance and see what the difference is between jap and UK. Me, well i have a UK manual and well happy. its worth waiting to get the right car.
