I've got a load of different gadgets and controllers ready to fit to the zed, but struggling to find any way to cram them all into the centre console. I've never considered putting them in the glovebox before, but I found this picture earlier and it seems to be the solution I've been missing all this time.

 

 

So does anyone have a similar set-up in their car? Was it hard to make or is it something I can buy?

I can't say for certain but I "think" I have that exact one or at least one virtually identical...and it's going up for sale! It came with the car when I imported it 6 years ago: very professionally made (I couldn't tell if it was shop bought or made by a very good amateur as there was no logo/brand on it) with space for 2 gauges and a boost controller (or whatever else you want to put in there...it had two mechanical gauges in it but they were pretty rubbish so I binned them!). I'm not using it in the V8 conversion project so I could have a rummage around the garage and take a photo or 2 for you if you like chap if you think you'd be interested? :)

HKS used to sell a glove panel no longer avalible i made one from fomex a kind of plastic i may be intrested in your panel is baz doesnt want it how much you want for it .

I have a glovebox that has been custom cut to house 3 gauges. Will try to find pictures on here but i will be selling it.
