Anything over 36"/900mm long and normally 7/8"/22mm thick and its a wee bit unstable.

Depends on how much power its gonna handle tho, and in what capacity ?

Cheers Allan, 36'' would be the limit anyways-still got to do some measuring!

Could always have em' made thicker anyway,it was the 'whip' that concerned me,they would be on a steering axle too,taking around 300 horses.

It's the fact they have to travel with the steering/suspension a support is out the question!:scooter:

LOL!-you may as well know-I am coming back to the UK!:scared:

Sold the bar, things are tough here (if you need to work) visited England about 4 weeks ago, the wifes mother isn't on top form and I got offered a job!-so easy decision really, would deffo come back tho' if A.I winthe lottery or B. retire........(the latter looking most likely!) LOL!
