Side exit exhaust..

Hi

Does anyone know for sure the rules and regs regarding a side exit exhaust (in the UK)? :batman:

    Andy GP - It's probably legal as long as the exhaust doesn't come out past the sil, same as an exhaust shouldn't stick out past the back bumper.

    last week, on the way to see Art, i pulled up behind a new fiat 500 that had a side exit exhaust, very strange rear end look i have to say.
