Ok so my car is now in the bodyshop to get the front bumper sorted, so I thought i'd start this thread to show progress.

This is what it looked like when I first had it:

Lots of damage and paint missing.

Currently bumper is off being repaired as follows:

I bought some ABS plastic mesh off ebay to tidy up the big gaping hole and im gonna get the number plate repositioned! More photos to follow on the road to completion!

eventually whole car at the end of the summer.

Mines going in for a full re spray next week. You'll be able to see the guys work and decide for yourself how good it is. Gareth, the chap who does all the spraying is fairly well known amongst the car forums, especially scooby net, most of the boys on there use him for there spray work.

Sir Charles front bumper is going to look brand new by the time G finishes with it :) I'm just as keen to see the outcome as he is lol

Looking good matey. When the painting is finished, update the piccies in your ride, to reflect the top paint job. Nice one.

Part 2 involves getting the rest of the car mopped and polished to match the new paint! Followed by part 3 which is fitting 99 spec spoiler :)

Very nice, any news on whether he can do my bumper?

And since a lot of the Welsh members will look at this ..What about a meet??? Are we going to start with one at CardiffGate Toby on the 1st Monday of the month as previously mentioned?

Although the bumper looks good in the pics I don't think the pics do it justice! It looks so much nicer in the flesh! Seeing Sir Charles face when we walked in to the compound where his Z was and seeing the bumper fitted was a picture..........................wooooow I think was the expression used :)

It's going to look mint when the mop and polish is complete.
