I removed a head unit that used up both DIN slots and replaced with a more up to date single DIN head unit. As a result I now have a big gaping hole. Now I know I can use a standard storage tray but what other options are out there? I don't need any gauges as I have boost, oil temp and oil pressure on my pillar. Where is the best price for a storage tray and what are the other options available to me?

You can get the standard 'bin' which is just an open tray, also theres one with a hinged front so it stays closed. Do you have a boost controller or turbo timer etc?

I have a standard tray for £15 posted if you are stuck for one, has all the necessary attachments so it fits to your stereo for support.

Get rid of the a-pillar gauges. DIN gauges are so much nicer than the ungainly looking A-pillar gauges.

If I didn't have my double DIN headunit, then without doubt, if I had a spare DIN slot, then it would have gauges.

I like the gauge on the a-pillar, my eyesight aint great to be honest with you so the closer to me the better.

Where do you get the surround that accepts double DIN anyway?

Turbo timer already fitted underneath steering wheel, I do have an AFC controller which I could fit there but I dont really want to be messing around with the wiring for that If i can help it.

follow the wiring for the AFC, most have a multiplug so you could unplug it and re-route the wiring.

Looks great where are they available? I may replace mine eventually as there is a hairline crack in it.
