Numberplate bulb for import NA

Hi,

 

Sorry if the answer is already on the forum but a quick look didn't give me an obvious answer.

 

My current bulbs are pink but not got round to change them! Took the bulb out this morning and it's made by RAYBRIG (Japanese) and also stated 12V 5W.

 

A quick search on the net suggests that it may be a 194/168 bulb.

 

Is this correct? Can I buy it in the high street?

 

Searched the Halfords web-site but couldn't find it.

 

Any advice or guidance most welcome.

    Number plate bulb is a 501, the same as the dash bulbs, easy to get from any motorfactors or garage, Halfords etc

    Did some more research and as you say, it's a 501. Very easy to find and pink lights are no more (actually purple!).

     

    Will probably fit white LEDs once the MOTs done in a month's time.
