All you've proven, is your inability to discuss things rationally. Your closing the initial thread leaving it on a "my point wins" tone is "taking your ball home".

And even if we were "going round in circles" (which we weren't since I raised points that you declined to answer because you knew you were losing the argument), that doesn't automatically give you the right to close a thread that is not, by any stretch of the imagination, anything more than reasoned debate.

Only one answer to this a spitting contest then who ever slaps the other one first loses.haahaaa lighten up mother humpers

Have to agree, the "heated" debate thread had no call within' the site rules to be moderated and closed. Does look a bit bad.

And no matter what anyone thinks you are looking for a ban by deliberatly breaking the clubs AUP!

ALL political discussions should be banned from this web site as this is a CAR site and not a political debate society!!

So you want to ban Kim for putting up a thread entitled "General Election 2010", do you?

Nothing there about politics. Searching for "politics" in the FAQ search gives "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

What rules am I supposed to have broken? I'd like to see them.

RE-READ my first post properly!!

I NEVER said anything whats-so-ever that a political thread was against the AUP, I stated that YOU have broken the AUP by deliberately re-opening a repeated discussion once a previous one, on the same subject, had been closed by a MOD - I have done the same thing in the past and have received a 7 day ban for it!

I also stated that I think that we shouldn't have political threads on this forum because it ends up like this, members having a go at each other. There are proper websites for this sort of thing if you feel so enclined to enter into.

So does that make it clearer?

It does, thank you. I apologise for misinterpreting you. You must see how, that without you initially stating which part of the AUP I had broken, it easily happened, though?

Your opinion about politics is noted. However, it's not something that has rules against it so I reserve the right to discuss it.

I understand your point, which is why I wanted to clarify mine ;)

You are indeed correct, we don't have rules against it :online2long:

The original thread had run its course and closed, you then started another thread "OMG" which was then closed by a moderator. Having opened another thread you have contravened a ruling in the AUP regarding the closing of a thread by a mod.

THREAD CLOSED
