Now compare that to mine and we have a long massive fuel tank held on by straps. Where's his fuel tank? Are the na's diff?

I was hoping to fit a single exit in roughly the same position as one of those hks hiper mufflers but I can't see how it would work as my fuel tank gets in the way  Surely not everybody with an hks hiper system has to relocate their tank

I would say the car in question is a swb as the fuel tanks are in front of the rear axel on a swb hence why the fuel cap moves forward. And they have a much deeper boot.

Thats a 2 seater swb, the tank is behind the front seats in the middle, so dont take that pic as a guide.

On a 2+2 the fuel tank is held on by 2 straps under the boot, the exhausts go around the outside of the tank so a single exit will fit fine

Plus you don't want a signal exit, for performance it's bad and for aesthetics it's worse. Singles look crap on a car with twin exhausts ducts. My first one came with a single exit and it looks bloody awful! So soon swapped it for a twin quad tail pipe scorpion system, lovely jubly!
