think i have a mechanical issue under the car but havent had a chance to have a look under it yet, driving along there is a fairly loud clicking noise coming from under the car and it increases in speed with more revs and stops when the accelerator is lifted. the car is also vibrating/juddering quite a bit and its mainly an issue at slower speeds, also not boosting as effectively as before, thinking this is all related to something mechanical under there around the gearbox or the drive??

could not possibly be the same as yours but lift the rear end and spin the prop mine had some loose weld inside the front prop half causing an annoying clinking noise also check the centre bearing if two piece prop as can cause vibrations when knackered hope this is of a bit of help for you will be interesting to know what the outcome is, all the best in getting it sorted

turns out, the clicking i could hear out the window when driving that i thought was coming from under the car is actually a misfire, can anyone enlighten me on possible causes and remedies? thanks

all cured! the misfire was due to a broken connection to one of the injectors! The performance is back again at last!

The vibration could be either the centre bearing on the propshaft, or the uj could be stiff or worn. Best to get it checked out and not waste your money on one item when it could be the other. If the vibration/juddering is coming from the front, then it is a bad boost leak. Does the boost guage boost over 0?
