Hey chaps, had a power cut the other day and the cooker has been busted since, the digital clock still comes on and so does the fan in the oven so its not just a blown fuse in the plug as I was hoping when the mrs phoned me originally.

Electric oven and grill, if I turn either on the wee temp light doesn't light up but the ovens fan does kick in, just no heat. Anybody know if there is likely to be an internal fuse or something that I can change that might be causing the problem? Gonna have to rip the fride and freezer out to get access to the bloody thing!

Bloody big joint of gammon in the fridge just waiting to get its ass roasted as well!!

may well have knackered the heating element, they aren't brilliant so maybe its just coincedence.

cheers but there are two separate elements for grill and oven and neither is heating up :(

My gas cooker has an electric digital clock; however following a powercut, the oven and hob will not operate (even though they are gas) unless the clock time has been reset!

Don't have a user manual but I fiddled with the buttons and managed to set the clock and hey presto, thermostat light came back to life and a waft of hot air hit me in the face.
