TV series. Sort of a mix between Gladiator, 300, Troy and Porn LOL - Lots of Blood and Sex.

Not been released in the Uk yet, just finished in the U.S but available on the Interweb

Just finished watching the entire First series.

Charlie Bookers Review - http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/2010/may/22/charlie-brooker-screenburn-spartacus

But here's the surprise – after a disappointingly slow (yes, slow – despite the constant sex and violence) pair of opening episodes, Spartacus starts to improve exponentially until somewhere round episode five, where you stop enjoying it ironically and start to enjoy it outright.

It's not half bad. In fact I'd go as far as to say it actually gets quite good.

Thats says a lot to actually get praise from Charlie Booker, he's a miserable cnut.

On the plus side....I got to see Zena:Warrior Princess's T1TS. LOL

Anyone know where its going. I heard the lead actor is quite ill with cancer and there was talk of instead doing a prequel instead. Good luck to him.

Thats true, but he is now in remission and will be starting filming on the season 2 soon.

Anyone been watching Spartacus: Gods of the Arena?? I have, wasn't expecting it to be as good as Blood & Sand, but it's bloody brilliant. I'm hooked. Looking forward to the 3rd Season though, which should see the return of Andy Whitfield (Spartacus), who is recovering from Cancer Treatments. :thumbup1:

Yep, watched the first couple on TV then ended up downloading the entire series and watched the lot. Realy good, but a little short. Only 6 episodes.

Andy Whitfield will unfortunatly not be returning. as the cancer has returned :( , and they have announced his replacement as Liam McIntyre.

Hmmm sad news, hopefully Mcintyre will do the role justice?
