This sums this lot of commie bar stewards up, This country now has the highest taxes in the WORLD. Personally I would be better off living and running my business even being in China, Russia, or even Cuba.

Tell me how that is right when we are a democratic nation?

My tax this year is close to 1M by the time I pay VAT, PAYE, NI, Corp tax, and my 51%. I take all the risks and they have all the benefits. Im sick of it, I was a semi finalist for entrepreneur of the year a few years back. I have now lost all motivation why bother?

Might as well go live in a comunist country and pay less tax????

I started with £100 never borrowed any money, run my companies finances better than this economy. Never got a GCSE, never been on the dole, and was brought up on a council estate. No one has ever given me anything but I am no longer motivated to carry on being a cart horse for financial rape. Im not even allowed a frickin pension now without paying even more tax... *****cks to it I say!

its all a load of crud, do you all think that whoever you vote for that it will be for the better?

VERY sad and stupid way of looking at things.

Yes in a perfect world there would be a party I and everyone else would be over the moon to vote for that would turn the country into bliss for everyone. Thats never gonna happen.

There are no parties that would in MY opinion make the country that much better than we are in general.

BUT, and here is the big BUT that makes your opinion so very very sad in my eyes......there ARE parties that will make this country a whole damn sight worse off than we are now if they got into power.

To sit back and say you dont care who is deciding your future is pathetic

I agree with said statement.

I hope that if the tories get in that they dont just revert to their old ways. I was shocked at their party conference, all slick and talk of change on stage only to look at the audience, same old people with old views that will sink this country into a deep recession. Come on guys whoever gets in its make or break time.

Small and medium businesses need real support aswell as the self employed. I cant see who really is going to do that.

hhhhmmmmm......... well, interesting read.. but i'll stick to my " i dont care who's in power " attitude as i believe they dont care about the general public..

:laugh::laugh:

Yep I agree they would probably sh1t theselves if they got in

BUT REALLY!!!!!!

I can't vote for the other two when they have lied to me constantly my whole life:cursing:

I think alot of younger student types will vote LibDem, I've put a few quid on them at 300/1 as a consolation should a shock happen, unlikely as it is. The trouble is, as said earlier many people are taken in by the face on TV, yet know nothing about the policies. The LibDems would cripple motorists with road pricing and create other stealth taxes based on MMGW nonsense, and of course they're anti nuclear so power cuts would be on the cards in the not too distance future as our country became littered with expensive useless unreliable inefficient windmills. They would unfairly double corporation and capital gains tax while all but scrapping defence spending leaving us vulnerable to the unknown future. I wouldn't be suprised if they do quite well though.

as long as the interest rates stay the way they are im happy, am voting conservative though

Well from memory when the tories were in power were the rates not at 15% at one point, something to look forward to if they win maybee, who knows.

I just wish they would all get together and work together to get up out of this mess, easy to sit back and criticise the others for decisions, working together for me is the way forward but that will never happen.

Cheers John

I agree with said statement.

Spot on - I agree with your statement as well.

Whether or not you agree with all the policies of the candidates standing for election; there must be one of them who comes closer to your ideals than all the others. Even if he/she does not fit your bill entirely.

To vote excercises your rights in a democracy and should ensure that democracy is always the winner. If no-one voted then elections would cease to be called and the UK could descdend into real chaos under an enforced dictatorship. One only has to look at Zimbabwe or any banana republic with a permanent "El Presidente."

Richard:cool3:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

lol end of voting now, so we will know who is in charge soon enough looks a close call though !!

Anyone staying up to see the final result?, prob about 2.30 i guess so there is a chance for me thanks to the shift i will soon be finishing :/
