Yes I have spent around $50,000 with kyle over a few different orders. He is excellet and always helps with after sales by e-mail and phone.

What are you looking to buy? best call or e-mail them both to see how quick they can get you the bits. Problem is remember nothing is flying and there is a backlog of mail/deliveries so you might want to see if you can get the items in the uk.

Cheers fella, yes forgot the plane problem:no: can save over £200.00 on a part hope this volcano stops soon:blushing:

I've used Kyle @ IPP too , usually use z1 or czp for parts though They hold more stock . Kyle hasan excellent reputation for his engine builds.

Buying from uk traders could be an issue ATM too, most hold very little stock and order from overseas

Your unlikely to find parts in the UK though , traders don't stock they just order from the above places when they got orders.

Im fairly sure you should be able to get a clutch over here, but again its the price I guess. I bought a twin plate RPS carbon from Kyle but not tried it yet as my car is still not running.

Looks like my plans to refit the engine this coming weekend have been scuppered by an angry icelandic mountain:no:

That's because there are a lot of additional costs involved in shipping over a clutch.

FWIW - you're looking at approximately US$80~US$120 in shipping costs (clutch will weigh about 10kg's) plus about 24% of total consignment value for import duty, VAT and handling fees. This can easily add at least GB£200~GB£250 to cost. Then there is the mark up for the UK based business as well ...

i was told its 55.00???? for shipping

i would rather get a clutch from a trader on here only because of the back up service i would hope to get.

If you are right it what you are saying about above costs than i may have to rethink and bite the bullet.

Dave

Oh, sorry Dave, I used the GB Pound sign rather than US Dollar sign. Shipping of a clutch (depending on the courier and method used) will cost between US$80 (GB£54) and US$120 (GB£80). My apologies for the mistake. Will amend my original posting. However, the whole exercise is still quite costly.
