I can acquire the clear plastic which is used in the lense for the 99 spec tail lights? - I'm sure you can get them somewhere, or a similar style of patterned clear plastic.. thanks

Failing that, anyone work in a place where you can get ahold of K19 or K15 prismatic acrylic? I'm sure that's the pattern used...

someone said they used strip light cover cut to shape, i thought that idea was pure genius

 

lol yeah, well K19 e.t.c are different patterns using an inverted pyramid style pattern... basically what is used in some industry lighting.. hmmm

I got mine from Australian e-bay , I will try and find the link, I do have some spare ones sat here though which i will be using, but if you need them quick you can replace for me at a later date :wink:

There's a place called bay plastics next to tyre spot on scotswood road mate. They should do it. I got a huge sheet of the striplight plastic last year for my knight rider scanner lens.

Speak to Lisaf (forum name). She used to (may still do) supply kits to convert them on ebay.

Cheers Dave, that's the person I was thinking of when I saw them on ebay.. haven't seen her advertising them in a while.. a pm shouldn't hurt though :)

Hi Bud, this is what i have, I dont want to give them away until we know we can get some more ,as soon as we know then you can have these and you can replace them for me.I could make a cardboard template aswell if you need
