Autobox put in in any gear revs go up but no drive! Where to start ?

Sounds like a new box to be honest mate, have you changed the oil and cleaned out the filter?

Box was working fine until I took it off 6 months ago, Will have to have a good look over it see if I have missed anything.

you did put the torque converter back in didn't you! :lol:

did u do up the 4 small bolts on the torque converter to fly wheel accessed through where the starter motor goes??

Yep done that...

is it actuall going into gear? eg the linkage doing its job? or is the lever just moving? can u start the car in any gear?

Only start in N or P. If I put it in gear the revs go up a bit but no drive!

Bolted in yes!

can u push the car in drive?

oil level ok?

how do i get rid of an air lock. sounds like i have one.

could it be my TPS?

Have you checked to see if oil is returning from the oil cooler, in front of the main rad or built into the side of the main rad.
